I've been reading the manga in between reading Ultraman ,would recommend the manga & not the anime, and it's pretty good.

Why not the anime? Have you seen the Yor vs. Loid theme park episode? top notch animation right there

Haven't watched the SxF anime yet but have seen the fight, was pretty good animation.


As to the Ultraman anime, it's a decent anime but it suffers from being an adaption of something that's not finished, for some reason they give him a good amount of the powers/tech characters gets throughout the manga in episode 1, they cut out characters & removed the villain popping up throughout the story to motivate other characters & keep up the mystery about his identity throughout the series. Even still it's second season was cut down to six episodes & they announced that it's getting it's third and final season next year, despite the manga still going strong.

OH I misunderstood, didn't realize you were talking about the Ultraman anime. I've only seen the westernized live action Ultraman Tiga when I was a youngling.

Saw that too, don't remember much about it. I do know that the development of it was troubled because 4kids couldn't decide whether to make it serious or a joke.
