Alright kids I watched Lost Butterfly, it's memereview time:
This OVA/movie felt new and refreshing to me, and I can't tell if it's because years have passed since my last viewing of FSN's story or because it truly does breath new life into the series despite being the 4th reboot.
- Shinji remains painful to watch, despite knowing all there is to know about his character.
- No spicy mapo tofu eating. At least Kirei's still around.
- [senpai intensifies]
- ZASSHU
- Where are my CG dragons/whales? You've let me down ufotable. You let me down hard.
- Oh yeah, they decided to put the CGI budget into the fight scenes instead. That's better, I'm not joking this time.
- Hey, it's Mr. Slappy! This takes me back to all those fun times in Crucis...
