Vala: 

Andrea chuckles at the shocked reactions everyone is surely having at this revelation. [Imperial] "Thou must be wondering how I know this. Let me explain-"

"Nah, I reckon we've all figured it out by now." Vala interrupts.

"Eh?"

Vala: "Thy next line is, smoke sorcery is not used or taught in any part of the Confederacy, we've only seen it used by Imperials thus far, yada yada yada. I can put two and two together. But this is no time for calling each other out." She waves her hand at the city looming before them. "Whether Judy wishes to speak of such matters is up to her. If she does not, just leave her be."

Andrea wobbles a bit on her reduced number of legs, flabbergasted by her squire's response and use of the strange slang coined by the folk in the Sein's Field region.

Now noticing that all the attention has shifted to her, Vala glows red and nearly wilts away in discomfort.
