Gritting his teeth, Zwiche realizes that he has no choice. He cannot return to Captain Fringe without some information, as dangerous as it must be. He walks back to the skeleton hall. The stench of the sewers assaults his lungs as he takes a deep breath, then begins walking forward, avoiding the corpses as gingerly as he can.
