DekaruThe continued adventures of not Vikings
#46
Extending consciousness to the mud yields no results (yay?) and the confused and probably disturbed Thisrle follows after Gwain. Violence, having been in the shadowy hallway slides past the pair and says sarcastically “Guard a kindly old man instead of going into some damp hole in a Lich fort? Please, no, take me with you.” Laughing at his own joke he walks into the room leaving the door ajar with Nibbs (begrudgingly) leaving the fire. Gwain, looking back, sees that the Cultivator has closed his eyes and seems at peace.

Exiting the door onto the Stairs of Eternal Frustration Gwain and Thistle see Lord Frey’s forces have forced their way through the main gate signaling the battle is resounding victory. While getting his bearings Gwain hears a signal whistle from the direction Treachery went in. Spotting the man himself atop one of the palisades Treachery gives Gwain a signal of all clear.
