Leewan is hardened to the core, a man with little in the way of remorse or fear. He looks down upon the old King's corpse and wonders what folly choices brought this once revered sovereign to such a state. Pictures of scheming and plotting play in Lord Griswald's mental landscape. Permutations of plots involving blue and black clad priests, ambitious princes and unsatisfied lords run through act after act but none fit just right to materialize the conclusion here in this rotting fortress. Leewan quashes his contemplation and asserts himself back into the dialogue.
