The Confederacy of Fukyutu:
A confederacy of many fiefdoms of various sizes, all united under a common culture. Approximately three hundred years ago, the country was still ruled by a monarch, but due to some strange reason, the members of the ruling family became infertile and thus the line was ended abruptly when the last king Guy died, and nobody since has been able to claim the crown.
The people of Fukyutu highly prize their families and clans, perhaps a little too much. In foreign countries they are generally known as a bunch of inbreds, a name which they proudly accept. In fact, marriage with someone outside of the family is considered strange, and the rare few that happen are between those of the same social class.
