I think it's hilarious. Some random guy on Twitter makes a comic strip, then Japan gets it and suddenly everyone from random artists to the Dragon Maid guy gets in on it.

It just seems like another rule 63 craze; "What if X was transformed into hot girl?" except this time it's Bowser. And is 'she' supposed to be a blonde or ginger? There seems to be two different versions.

I don't know there is so many different versions it's hard to keep track. Though it has now spread to other Mario characters, from bullet bill and ,the most popular one, King Boo. Hell I saw one of the fireball enemies.
