heavy breathing
Cap shaved, Widow... didn't change her hairstyle for once(I think). Thanos getting even more swole out on his farm.
Couple things I'm wondering; how did Ant-Man get back from the Quantum Realm? And did Nebula just ding dong ditch Tony after the Titan battle?

Still? You gotta git on that Marvel binge.

Oh yeah, RIP Stan Lee. You think he has a cameo in Endgame?

I think I read that his final part was recorded...if not his last part was Spider-Man PS4 I think.

I guess Captain Marvel is a prerequisite now. Unless you subscribe to the theory that Ant-Man will defeat Thanos by crawling up his butt and expanding.

I kinda don't wanna see Captain Marvel, everyone I talked to who saw it and they all hated it, even those who are marks for the MCU.

Well just saw the movie, advice for those going dont go to a theater with leather seats. Your pants will be soaked after sitting for 3 hours.

No sppoilers but thank god they used the cut of the movie with very little screentime with Captain Marvel, and why did they give her such an unflatering haircut? I know the current comics have her with a butch cut, but those cuts do no favors for anyone.

Anyway anyoone up for spoiler discussions?

I haven't seen it yet, but I did see Captain Marvel. Is that really what you'd call a butch cut?

did you actually see the Captain Marvel movie though? I'm curious as to whether your expectations were fulfilled. Mine certainly were.

I passed on it because everyone I know who saw, family members to coworkers, it said the characters were bland, created a few plot inconsistencies with the overall MCU, and was just overall boring.

I went to a theater on opening day, bought my tickets a week in advance and there was only one pair of seats that were next to each other. It was ridiculous. Also how did avatar make that much money? It was Pocahontas in space and they somehow blew it.

Okay, I finally saw it, the theater was still packed despite this being the 3rd week of release.
I see what you mean now, Captain Marvel was actually seen sporting that haircut much earlier in the movie via hologram. It's not *that* butch IMO.
Alright, time for more spoileriffic commentary. I'll start with the stuff I found merely interesting, not in a particularly good or bad way:

Some things I liked /disliked:

Creation of the MCU multiverse, now I know why they did it, they want to be able to milk this for longer and it will be easier to introduce characters like the xmen and fantastic four, and seem to be introducing it through the next Spider-Man movie, with Mysterio (I'm not buying it) apparently being from another universe. Plus they needed a way to have Loki in it for the female audience. Also fun fact, apparently in the Rami Spider-man movies, if they continued Bruce Campbell apparently would have been revealed to be Mysterio.

The ending, I have no real problem with it cap going back in time and living a normal life, and he deserves it with all the shit he's gone through, but having him talk to Falcon and ignore Bucky just didn't sit well with me. Got no problem with him passing the shield to him though. I feel like they cut some content here does feel abit rushed.

Fat Thor, this is just a personal annoyance, they made the hot avenger fat for no real reason other than a punchline. Can't wait for GotG 3 hopefully he will be in it.

Fat Thor is the ideal male body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

In seriousness though, it was part of showing how deeply in despair he'd fallen after losing in Infinity War and finding out the stones had been destroyed, by his transformation into a NEET.

Yeah, they could have just done that by having him in a continual drunken state barely being able to function, him becoming a fat slob who threatens children on a video game doesn't fit with his character.

Fair point, that whole scene was probably motivated by the Fortnite cross-promotion.  >implying fortnite will still be popular in 5 years

Let's talk about how Black Widow showed more emotional range here than in every other MCU film combined. Do you think it made sense given the circumstances?

Wow your generous, I give fortnite only a year or two at most and epic store even less.

As to the scene, I think it's ok. It's well done and coreographed, but gets rid of another core member of the mcu, and poses the question on how her movie will be done next year. A prequel is out of the question, like Solo there can be no stakes in it, we know she will survive so why watch.

All that was true with Solo and they went ahead and did it anyway. Disney owns all the infinity IPs now, they can just snap to ruin half of our childhoods.

I thought Fat Thor was funny, but not that funny.

I actually would've liked to see more of the backstory behind how Banner gained control of his Hulk form.

I could not enjoy the final fight for various reasons. But here's one of them:

Instead of passing the gauntlet through a horde of enemies and Thanos himself, why not give it to Hulk or Captain Marvel to use, and have them snap away Thanos' army.

Captain Marvel is supposedly stronger than Hulk iirc, so she should've been able to withstand the power surge from the gauntlet.

If that SOMEHOW is not an option, then why not bring the truck TO the gauntlet, instead of vice versa.

Thanos can't fly without his stones, so bringing the gauntlet within his striking range is just a dumb move.

And how were they planning on dealing with Thanos' army after sending the stones back in time via the van?

FTFY.

Using the gauntlet more than once was never part of the Avengers' plan, and rightfully so because of how dangerous it was. It was a last resort that they thought they could do without right up until they had no other choice.

The truck is a lot bigger and heavier than the gauntlet, and it was surrounded by enemies. IMO it's a tossup whether it would have been any safer/easier to extract the truck instead.

I do agree with the rest of your points though.

The gauntlet was so dangerous that it was safer to bring it towards the enemy, rather than away from him /s

OK, so let's say using the gauntlet is considered a last resort. It would make more sense to have a mobile hero take it as far away from Thanos' forces as possible, and be prepared to either snap Thanos away, or use the stones to destroy the stones. If their plan was to fight Thanos the old fashioned way after transporting the stones back in time, then they might as well kill him first while keeping him away from the gauntlet.

The truck is probably not much heavier than a regular truck. Thor, Hulk, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strange and probably some other heroes have moved heavier objects across far distances. Yes, the truck is surrounded by enemies, but they also had to pass through those very same enemies to get the gauntlet to the truck. It's definitely safer to extract the truck, because Thanos can't immediately end your existence if he sticks his hand in the truck.

Destroying the stones was actually not an option this time as it would shift them into a doomed timeline.
