I come bearing gifts. I recently bought the new Cyberpunk game and it comes with a bunch of digital goods, like the tabletop source book. If anyone wants it, here's a link:

Oh sup Kaede. What happened to your mediafire? How're you liking the game so far?

It's still up, I was just too lazy to upload it there. As to how the game is, I'm playing it on a ps4 pro because my pc won't run it, it's janky but playable (only crashed twice in the 25 hours of gameplay I have, and I've been saving videos of the various funny glitches I've had) but more importantly it's a very fun game. Plus there are tons of references to other things, like Glados from Portal being in the game as a AI in a taxi.

Wow can't believe I didn't see this thread. I created Weirdos RPG corner for a certain someone and his buddies to run a forum RPG on so this isn't quite the right section to post this in, but there isn't a tabletop RPGaming section on this new site (yet) so it'll stay here for now.

I could have made a section in the general gaming area, and might do so to share the soundtrack that came with the game, but I saw this thread and just posted it here.

Alright the Tabletop RPGaming section is live, I've gathered together all the disparate threads into it.

Oh man, now I'm wondering if they also have JOHNNY CAB, the taxi AI from that movie Total Recall (the original with Arnie, not the reboot)

If he's there I didn't notice. The main taxi service is Delamain, a taxi company that was once staffed by humans, then to save money they implemented an AI driver who eventually bought out the company. There is no puppet though, the driver's seat in empty and Delamain himself talks through a screen.

Wow the RPG really is called Cyberpunk 2020, not 2077. We can play it right now in real life!

I'll just say this, as someone who has played 2020 a bit I don't like that they retconned cyberpsychosis from being a condition where as you replace your body with mechanical parts you lose your connection to humanity until you snap, to being just preexisting psychological problems exasperated by adding chrome to your body.

It makes sense to me, I don't see replacing your body with mechanical parts as being inherently bad or evil, some people just aren't able to handle it as well as others.

Never was really evil or bad to do so, it was a there mostly so you don't just load up your character with cybernetics and if you do you develop a dangerous form of dissociative disorder where you can lose control over your character if you lose all of your humanity points. This game though it's been changed just to explain why your character doesn't go psycho because you loaded up on everything from missile launcher arms, rocket legs, a titanium plated skeleton, and cyber eyes.
