Genshin Impact is a free to play open world anime-esque action RPG from the makers of Honkai Impact 3. It's strongly 'inspired' by Zelda and Breath of the Wild for its cel-shaded visual aesthetic, musical score, stamina mechanics, exploration....so basically everything. I've never played BOTW though so it's all new to me.
The core gameplay seems way too good for a gotcha game, but I suppose it's about time companies put in the work to truly earn their whale bucks.
