Not really, I haven't played in a while but from what I remember the game for the most part doesn't acknowledge that your playing as a different character and just treats it as if your the default character.

I wouldn't mind, but ATM I'm focusing on Honkai, mainly because something tells me that it'll be connected in quite a few ways to Genshin.

Yeah, the same thing happens in Genshin. If you're on a different character when talking to an NPC during a story quest, it'll literally switch you to the MC just for that dialogue, and then switch you back afterwards.

It's a character action game like devil may cry, really good story inspired by evangelion and they've released tons of stuff for it ranging from online comics, short anime, character songs, having a colab with Evangelion and having Auska be inside the game permanently, and tons of merch. Lots of references to Honkai in Genshin as well like the Herrscher of the Void looking exactly like the unknown goddess who stole your sibling, Venti looking like two girls who are avatars of the wind and several others.

Here's a couple of the animations they've done for it, all in house to boot so hopefully Genshin gets something similar.

I needed a hobby over the shutdown and it seemed like a good idea, unfortunately I let the pile build until it was taller than me. That's not even showing the Wing Zero MG Ka & HG Xi I can't fit there because they are huge.

And I'll admit I'm mostly coming back to the game because they are finally implementing Mei in the game as Raiden Shogun, gotta save up though last I remember I spent all my gems on getting Klee.

Wow a Klee fan huh. I can understand why people like her, but she's just such a pain to use for me. Her normal attack is really annoying to hit with and her height makes it difficult to dodge attacks.

Well it doesn't help that I like her CN v.a. Oh yeah speaking of, even in colabs Klee is a brat. Also speaking of colabs, apparently Genshin is having a colab with Horizon Zero Dawn and everyone playing on ps4 will get 5* Aloy for free in 2.1 while everyone else gets her in 2.2. Kinda disappointed if I'm being honest, wanted to see some other property as a first colab, maybe God of War if PS games are available to crossover, but a free 5* is a free 5*.

For the colab it's another character in Honkai that has the same Chinese VA as her who was given a Klee skin, probably because they didn't want to have to transfer over too many characters in it.

The meta for her is shaping up to be another quickswap support, just tapping her skill and burst.
Continuously rolling through enemies with her is fun, and you'll be going so fast that you can dodge most attacks without having to spend any stamina, though her damage numbers are not going to be anywhere close to your existing DPS characters.

Well I don't have any gear for her so Yanfei is staying at level 1 for now, though I do admit it is really weird going from one game with Raiden using a spear primarily to their other game where she only uses a sword, at least they kept the sword in her ultimate though. Also finally cleared the wind archon story and got to AR 20.

Okay, so you know that XP cards are the "real" way to level up and that XP from monsters is too little to actually matter, right? Just farm the blue leylines with your resin and you'll get a steady stream of cards.
