Jamar gives Samad a blank stare before returning to the familiar fetal position under the table.

Tomoe jumps down with the grace of...a child...who has taken intermediate gymnastics lessons...

Tomoe does feel like her newly acquired power is helping her, although it's not enough in this case. She lands on rubble, almost losing her footing and getting a few cuts on her legs before stumbling onto one of the clearings on battered feet. At least it doesn't hurt as much as she'd expect.

[Kaede]

(I would have went with copying what she saw on tv.)

She turns to Jamar and gives em a thumbs up and a toothy smile. "See nothing to it." She then walks over to around he is and gets ready to catch them. "Jump down, I'll catch you."

Jamar walks over to the edge and visibly tries to straighten up at the sight of Tomoe.
Popping back out of Tomoe's line of sight, Jamar wipes off any obvious facial perspiration and works on a presentable style of hair... as best as can be done with shaky hands and within 5 seconds. Jamar the pops back out to the edge and returns the thumbs up.
"uuuuhhhhhhh... haha.. hahahah... yeah, of c-course... hahahahhahahaha... I'll j-j-jump on three."

"t-two"

Jamar hesitates about 2 seconds after 3 before jumping.

Tomoe walks over to the other side of the gap, clearing away some rocks to have semi-stable footing. After great hesitation (and personal grooming), Jamar decides to take a leap of faith

Jamar's slender frame makes a smooth landing within the confines of Tomoe's waiting arms, in a bridal carry no less!

Noticing the awkward position, Jamar seizes up in Tomoe's arms and forgets to breathe, staring into Tomoe's eyes like a deer caught in headlights.

[Kaede]

For her part, Tomoe just places the frozen Jamar on the ground and heads back to where Samad is. "If you have any heavy equipment toss it down then come down yourself."

[The Lord Kelvin]

Jamar lays peacefully on the ground, sporting a blissfully fulfilled grin.

[Xenoe]

Cory climbs onto the rumble pile leading outside, picks a piece of rubble off the ground, and attempts to bash apart the wall nearby to create an opening large enough for him to walk out.

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Cory starts slamming a rock into the wall, with his enhanced strength it's actually breaking away pieces and creating a small depression. It's tiring work though, and it feels like it will take a while before he reaches the other side.

"Nope, it's just me." Samad straightens himself up and takes a leap of faith as well.

Samad falls a little bit to the right forcing Tomoe to scramble to compensate, but she is able to catch Samad without any problems.
"Oof. You are quite strong Tomorrow, and a woman no less." Samad steps into the clearing and observes Jason's bashing.

[Kaede]

After putting Samad down and seeing no one else up there Tomoe looks around to see if the statues are still around.

Rolling 3d2: 2 + 2 + 2 = 6

Astonishingly all three statues have remained intact despite the fall, although Spell-Ur has fallen over and Revenge-Ur is under rubble.

[Kaede]

"Well anyone wanna keep looking around the area or is everyone satisfied with what they saw?"

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Cory sure is making good progress, as cracks are now forming of their own accord around the impact site.
"Jamar, you got everything from the desk, right?" Samad checks over Jamar for the tablets.
"Well then, I'm quite satisfied. In fact, I think we've overstayed our welcome..." he looks around the enclosed space. "So how are we leaving this pit? Shall we just wait for Jaysson?"

[Kaede]

Tomoe looks through her phone to see if there is any way she can store the statues in her inventory.

[Xenoe]

Cory keeps going at it.

[The Lord Kelvin]

Seeing that a masculine figure: Jason/Cory, is performing the masculine act of smashing a wall within line of sight of the only female character that Jamar has met thus far, Jamar decides to join Jason/Cory in smashing the wall.
"Bruv, lemme git in on dis withya"

[Xenoe]

"Sure thing mayne," Cory hands Jamar his piece of rubble and goes to find another suitable piece to smash the wall with.

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Tomoe finds that reaching 15% of her quota will unlock the use an extradimensional G-Locker, conveniently accessible at most points in this space-time continuum. For now though if she wants to transport the statues it'll have to be the old-fashioned way.

Cory and Jamar start wallbanging together.

"Yo dawg, that thing with the spear earlier was pretty dope."

[Kaede]

Putting the phone away, Tomorrow decides to test out her abilities by using True Name Discernment on all the people in the room, as well as one of the statues to see if they give any information about them.

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Tomorrow's eyes emit a soft blue glow as she invokes [True Name Discernment]. Words and bronze class icons appear over people in her vision as her focus sweeps over them.

"Hey, Tomorrow, your eyes are looking kinda dangerous right now, is that radiation poisoning?" asks Cory.

[Kaede]

"No they are cancer giving eyes, guess where yours is at." She says, dripping with obvious sarcasm. She looks at the other two statues to get their true names, then looks through the status page to see how to rank up her class.

At the mention Tomoe eyeing people dangerously, Jamar begins hacking at the wall frantically.

[Xenoe]

"Fuck, I didn't know cancer was contagious," says Cory, continuing to smash the wall.

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Little did Cory know, but it was, for how else could one get cancer from merely reading a post online?
With two people hitting the wall and one of them hitting it especially hard, the cracks have now spread throughout the entirety of the wall.

Turning off the ability, she sighs. "Well least I got the names of the status now." Tomorrow walks around the room to see if there is anything interesting laying around.

[Xenoe]

"Man, I feel like we've been smashing this wall for days now, don't you?" asks Cory to Jamar.

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Tomoe's prior research found that while "exemplifying" one's class archetype can unlock new abilities and progress existing ones, advancing the rank requires finding a similar source and possessing sufficient aptitudes to support the enhancement. She looks around the remains of what must have been the Dorms section to see a few plain cots, and opposite them are a few narrow, coffin-like sleeping enclosures with slits in the sides, through which rusted chains are threaded through and anchored to the ground. The enclosures are empty.

Jamar and Cory are giving good headway into the wall, it feels like they're more than halfway through.

Vincent shows up on the stairs side of the gap, with a coil of rope in hand. "Hey guys, I got it... uh, what's going on?"

[Kaede]

"I have no idea why they are doing that, but let them be." Tomoe says as she boredly looks over the room for anything that looks valuable.

[The Lord Kelvin]

Seeing Vincent come back with the rope after having jumped down instead of waiting for him, Jamar's gaze quickly shifts away and Jamar smashes at the wall even more frantically.

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Tomoe finds a pair of rusted but serviceable manacles for restraining a person's wrists.
Breakthrough! The first glint of light shines through a tiny hole to the other side of the wall. Cory and Jamar focus on widening the hole, while the cracks spread across the corners to the other walls.
"Okay then...does anyone still need this rope?" Vincent asks.

[Kaede]

"Looks like you do."

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Success! The hole in the wall is now wide enough for someone to squeeze through.
"Huh? Why would I need it? I can just go down the stairs and right outsi-"
Vincent is interrupted by a loud CRACK, and the floor he's standing on suddenly drops an inch as the wall Cory and Jamar have been banging starts to buckle.

[SilkScarf]

Jose uses his agility to navigate down the unstable staircase to safety.

[The Lord Kelvin]

Jamar runs away from and dives through the air dramatically towards the corner of the room.
After hitting the ground, Jamar curls up into a fetal position and rolls around on the ground as though losing control of the situation.

[Corenat Rovarnus]

Jose makes it downstairs successfully. Vincent remains standing over the gap, while Jamar makes a rough landing amidst the rubble accumulating several scrapes.
[You can all ascertain that one person can safely pass through the opening made by Jason and Jamar. No guarantees after that. Also, the stairs aren't collapsing (yet).]

[Xenoe]

"Well, if the place comes tumbling down, I'm assured that we can now climb over the big rubble pile," says Cory as he drags the largest piece of rubble he can find as a shield, finds a safe place in toe corner to hide, covering himself in the corner with the piece of rubble.

[The Lord Kelvin]

"Ah jeez, this hole doesn't seem too safe. Hey Vincent, could u let down that rope and tie it to something steady, please?"

Assuming Vincent does this, Jamar climbs up the rope and moves towards the exit, making sure not to look down while doing so.
"It's ok... this is just like gym class.... from years ago..... no.... problem..... yeahhhhhh........"

[Kaede]

"Jamar, your the youngest head on through the hole."

[The Lord Kelvin]

"Aw hell naw, gurrrrl. I'm goin' around."

[Kaede]

"You mean to climb up to where it could collapse because of the hole you two made?"

[The Lord Kelvin]

"Looks more stable than that hole to me."

[Corenat Rovarnus]

"Yeah, I think I can do that," Vincent says. He searches around a bit and ties the rope to a crag of stone sticking out from the edge, letting the rest of it down into the pit. Jamar grabs on and begins his ascent.

Jamar climbs up to the top without incident, standing up next to Vincent. Not seconds after another loud CRACK ensues. "Uh, it's not safe up here, let's get down the stairs!"
Vincent and Jamar rush down the stairs as the wall collapses completely, sending the remains of the platform toppling forward into the pit. Rocks fall...

Rolling 3d50: 7 + 38 + 20 = 65

Cory gets hit hard by the falling debris, his makeshift shield preventing the worst of the damage but still transferring a lot of the force. This combined with the unexpected volume of debris pins both him and Samad down under a pile of rocks (in separate locations). While she is not hit as hard Tomoe is still sent reeling from the rocks that do hit and incurs several bruises and large cuts over her body.
